13 Mar Celiac (Gluten) Disease Panel
Celiac disease is a disease where the body attacks itself with its own antibodies. With celiac, ingesting gluten (found in wheat and barley) triggers an immune response that attacks your small intestine. Certain antibodies (transglutaminase IgA and others) that your immune system would create will show up in testing if your body is hypersensitive to gluten. Your diet should include gluten at the time of testing for more precise results.
