Precise Diagnostics for Better Outcomes

NextGen RT-PCR Panels

NextGen Laboratories advanced molecular diagnostic test panels empower clinicians to make decisions based on highly accurate and rapid identification of pathogens through DNA analysis of multiple pathogens at the same time. Because infections present with similar signs and symptoms, NextGen Labs infectious disease syndromic test panels help limit testing to the most common pathogens associated with a clinical syndrome by grouping probable pathogenic causes into one simple test. Rapid and highly accurate identification of the likely cause of Infection in one sample and one test streamlines the process and reduces the waiting period.

Respiratory Panel

The NextGen respiratory panel tests for over twenty upper respiratory viral and bacterial pathogens commonly associated with respiratory infections, many of which present with nearly indistinguishable symptoms. The rapid and accurate (95%+ sensitivity and specificity) identification of the most common bacterial or viral pathogens causing infections empowers healthcare providers to provide targeted treatment and avoid prescribing antibiotics for viral infections.

Gastrointestinal Panel

The NextGen Gastrointestinal (GI) panel tests for a comprehensive set of twenty-two gastrointestinal pathogens associated with gastroenteritis and infection, including viruses, bacteria, and parasites. Rapid identification through a simple stool swab can identify many of the pathogens that are often missed with traditional methods.

Treatment Facilities

When a patient acquires an additional comorbidity it can complicate any type of treatment plan, no matter what type of treatment facility you operate. An additional medical condition needs to be quickly identified and treated in order to achieve the original patient treatment goal. A delay in any step of this process can severely impact a treatment plan and draw focus away from the initial condition and result in a shuffling of the prioritization of care. Clinicians need access to information that will help them swiftly deal with new conditions and NextGen is able to deliver just what is needed to achieve better outcomes.

Our experienced lab provides you with:

    • Access to advanced technology
