Quetiapine is not approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of behavioral problems in older adults with dementia. Quetiapine is an antipsychotic medicine that is used to treat schizophrenia in adults and children who are at least 13 years old.
This drug may be used for bipolar disorder and depression and is also known as a second-generation anti- psychotic drug.
