Blood Type (ABO, Rh)

Blood Type (ABO, Rh)

Blood Type (ABO, Rh) determines whether your blood type is A, B, AB, or O and if you are positive or negative. The Rhesus factor is an inherited protein on the surface of red blood cells. If your blood has the protein, you are Rh positive, if your blood is without the protein, you would be Rh negative. This determines what type of blood you can donate or receive. Rh positive is the most common. This test does not require fasting.
